The Traditional Stringed Chinese Instrument was likely adapted from the Chinese instrument's design and is very similar in appearance to the Chinese instrument, the Hu Hu.
It is very fragile and is traditionally played on the lap, sitting down. You can play this one-stringed instrument solo in certain cases, but it is most commonly used as the backbone of ensembles due to its rich, dark, and mellow tone.
